2015 Ford Mustang and Shelby GT500 Rendered in Jaw-Dropping DetailEvery time a 2015 Ford Mustang spy shot hits the web, fanatical artists the world over get that little bit closer to producing truly accurate renderings. And now that we’ve been introduced to the business end of the new Mustang for the first time, Mustang6g has done its work once again and come up with this little beauty.

This stunning rendering of the 2015 Mustang takes into account the completely overhauled headlights visible in the newest spy shots, which by comparison to the outgoing Mustang are tiny. Ford also appears to have taken the Mustang’s front grille and fenders back to the drawing board – both of which are considerably more aggressive-looking than we’re used to.

We recently learned that the next Mustang will be a shorter, thinner and lighter beast than the current-generation version, apparently shedding a full 400lbs of curb weight. And of course, this is expected to shine through in the guise of improved handling, fuel-economy and overall performance.

Adding together what we know, or at least what we think we know so far, the arty types at the site came up with a truly bewildering mockup which somehow manages to make the standard 2015 Mustang look like a bit of a shrinking violet.

Wait…did we really just say that?

Rumors are building that goodies the likes of 10-speed gearboxes are on their way for the standard Mustang and that the 2015 GT500 could be good for at least 680BHP.
